ErinDemartini,TeacheronSpecialAssignment.
Theprogram’sfundingisconditionalonparentparticipation.“Ourdonorneeds
toseethatparentsarecominginandparticipatinginPIPforittocontinue,”said
Demartini.
Envoyhasbeencrucialforhelpingtheschoolpullrecordsonparent
participationinPIP,demonstratingtheprogram’sstrongdraw.“WithEnvoy,we
caneasilyprintareportonthenumberofparticipantsataPIPevent,aswellas
howmanyhoursourparentsspentineachclassroom,”saidDemartini.
“Thissavesussomuchtime.BeforeEnvoy,we’dmakephotocopiesofthe
papersign-insheetsandmanuallyenterthedata.Wenolongerhaveto
decipherchickenscratchtofigureoutpeople’snames,”saidDemartini.Envoy’s
digitalvisitorrecordensuresthateveryone’snamesarecollected—nothingslips
throughthecracks.
