First State Bank has some exciting news and
events just for Kids Club members!
Enclosed is your Kids Club Discount Card
Card!
Keep your Kids Club Discount Card with you, take
it in to the business, then show the card and promotion to the cashier to receive your discount. Your
Kids Club Discount Card is valid June 1, 2016 May 31, 2017.
Visit any First State Bank location and guess how
many pennies are in the penny jar. The Penny
Count Contest begins June 17 ends July 1 at 4
p.m. Whoever guesses the closest to the number of
pennies wins a ticket to Adventureland! There will
be one winner from each location. In case of a tie,
the winner of the closest guesses will be randomly
drawn. Winners will be called around 4:30 on
July 11. No one knows how many pennies are in the
jar until the jar is counted!
Mark your calendar now for July 30 in Fort
Dodge or August 6 in Webster City for the First
State Bank Kids Club Grill Out and Scavenger
Hunt
Hunt! An invitation with more information will be
mailed to you later this summer. Enjoy food, fun,
prizes, giveaways and an adventure!

For Parents and Guardians
Summer can be a good time for kids to earn money by
doing extra jobs based on their maturity and abilities.
Below are some ideas to help your child learn to earn
and then decide how to save and spend.
Help out more around home for an allowance.
Ask neighbors and area homeowners you know about
doing yardwork or gardening for pay.
Have a carwash in your driveway or onsite at other’s
houses and charge for car washing.
Babysit.
Start a dog walking, pet sitting, or pet care business.
Sell gently used clothing and toys at a garage sale or
consignment shop.
Host a bake sale and lemonade stand.
KIDS CLUB REMINDERS:
