1 PETER 1:6-9, DANIEL 6
Sunday Morning Worship Services March 12, 2017
GOD USES ISOLATION TO EQUIP US TO
TRUST HIM.
• Being a minority among the
majority contributes to
isolation. (Dan. 6:1-2)
• Having an extraordinary
spirit can cause further
isolation. (v.3)
GOD USES ISOLATION TO EQUIP US TO
TRUST HIM.
• The jealousy of his peers
isolated him even more.
(Vs. 4-9)
• His loyalty to God
contributed to his isolation.
(V.10)
GOD UTILIZES CRISIS TO HELP US
LEARN TO TRUST HIM.
• God will not waste a crisis.
• The devil uses a crisis to
distract; while God uses the
crisis to train us to trust Him.
GOD UTILIZES CRISIS TO HELP US
LEARN TO TRUST HIM.
• The devil instigates a crisis to
intimidate while God uses a
crisis to strengthen.
• We need to view our crisis
from God’s perspective not
our own.
GOD EMPLOYS CONFLICT TO
TRAIN US TO TRUST HIM.
• Conflict even an earthly
king couldn’t resolve.
• A night in a den of lions will
cultivate one’s trust in God.
GOD EMPLOYS CONFLICT TO
TRAIN US TO TRUST HIM.
• Conflict affords us the
opportunity to identify who
we really trust.
• Our response in conflict
reveals where our trust lies.
