Content
Students will learn how to read, understand and present poems. They will learn how to
determine the rhythm of a poem and how to understand imagery and personification.
Students will read different tall tales and how to understand them and the author’s
intention. They will learn how to recognise the morale in the story and the specific use
of language and idioms in a tall tale.
Reading:
 Train fluent reading and the difference in reading out loud a story or a poem
 Reading comprehension:

work with specific parts of the text in a creative way of rephrasing.
Students will learn about the characteristics of narrative poems and how to read,
understand and present them.
