All Levels Strength: This class is designed to reach all levels in strength
training with emphasis on form and instruction and with modifications for
all levels.
Athletic Conditioning : This 1.5hr class is athletic training aimed at greater
strength, power, speed, agility, coordination & balance using running,
stairs, track, free weight & body weight!!
Barre: This total body conditioning class utilizes a mix of Ballet, Yoga,
Pilates, using Bender Balls, Gliders, dyna bands and or small weights
without the use of a traditional ballet barre. This class will help improve
balance, core stability, and better body alignment, and also focus on the
body`s ability to lengthen against gravity. Great for all fitness level
BellyFit: This class offers a full workout utilizing elements of dance, yoga
and Pilates. If you want a class where you can dance, sweat, breathe, and
liberate yourself from the daily grind then Bellyfit is the class for you! The
cardio dance portion of Bellyfit incorporates movements from belly dance,
East Indian, Bollywood and African dance. The core and stretch portions
are inspired by yoga and Pilates.
Body Barre: A fusion of Pilates , yoga and ballet barre. Designed to
strengthen the entire body while creating longer leaner muscles. A variety
of equipment will be used in these classes. Suitable for all levels
Body Shaping: Strength training class designed to target every muscle
group
Bootcamp: An ultimate full body workout that incorporates strength,
cardio, and all around functional fitness.
Cardio Step & Core: choreographed step aerobics, along with core
conditioning. Challenging and fun for all levels.
Cardio Strength Circuit: An intense workout alternating between cardio
drills & strength training in a circuit format. This full body training is
designed to burn the maximum amount of calories.
Cardio Step/Booty Burn: Choreographed step aerobics, followed by a
lower body workout designed to tone and shape your legs and booty.
Kickboxing: Kickboxing where you actually get to practice hitting a bag
instead of the air! Incorporates resistance training as well; making the
class benefit your cardio, and muscle tone.
Cycle & Lift: Alternates between energetic cycling drills with resistance
training.
Cycle Fit: Exciting indoor cycling class that strengthens leg muscles,
increases cardio & builds stamina.
Cycle &TRX: Cycling drills such as hill climbing & speed drills partnered
with TRX body weight exercises.
Essentrics: A full body workout aimed to improve posture, increase
flexibility, reduce pain and help with weight loss.
Functional Fitness: - This class is designed for older adults looking for fun
physical activity to maintain independence. It includes the use of balls,
bands, and hand weights to build your strength, endurance, balance,
relaxation, and flexibility.
Gentle/Soft Yoga: This class will restore balance by helping to strengthen
your body, calm your mind, regain your focus and improve self- confidence
all while being surrounded in a comfortable heat to warm your soul from
the cold winter chill.
H.I.T.T: High Intensity Interval Training
H.I.I.T Fit Bootcamp: Jessica will challenge you through fat-blasting, high
intensity intervals of strength, cardio, and core conditioning that will push
your limits and take your fitness to the next level. “If it doesn’t challenge
you, it won’t change you.”
H.I.I.T Lunchtime Express: This high intensity interval express lunch time
class will rev up your metabolism and increase your endurance! We will
use a variety of HIIT training techniques including some strength.
Intensity: A total body conditioning workout that alternates between
explosive cardio drills, power and resistance moves, plyometrics, and core
all done to the max of your personal ability. Timed intervals are used to
push you past your comfort zone and achieve your personal best.
Kangoo Power: "Unleash your inner Tigger" this class gives you the best of
everything...an amazing bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun,
fun, fun cardio workout without the impact. This class is done in Kangoo
Jumps Rebound Boots and includes basic choreography, bootcamp style
intervals, and strength/core conditioning. You can't help but smile in this
one.
Total Body Fitness This class has it all! Karen will lead and motivate you
through exercises designed to work the entire body. You will learn how to
maximize your workout potential by maintaining proper form and body
positioning. We will work on strengthening the cardiovascular system,
toning up muscle groups while engaging the core, and working abs.
Piloxing- is an exciting fitness program that blends the best of Pilates, Boxing
and Dance into a high-energy interval workout. Using the most current
science, PILOXING ® incorporates formats such as interval and barefoot
training to burn maximum calories and increase stamina. In addition to
Pilates and Boxing movements, the exercise incorporates the use of weighed
gloves which add to the workout by toning the arms and maximizing
cardiovascular health. PILOXING ® uniquely blends the power, speed and
agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates, which
combines to provide muscle-toning
Mommy & Me: - This class is tailored for parents of little ones wanting a
challenging strength, cardio and core class. Secure your babies and toddlers
in your clean stroller and bring them along for the ride. Please feed your
kids prior to class to keep our surface clean.
Outdoor Body Blast - Get ready to take your body outside. This class
provides a full body workout that works all muscles building strength and
endurance. Prepare to sweat and challenge yourself to the next level. Bring
water and a towel. We will meet by the fieldhouse entrance doors.
Depending on weather class may be indoors.
Piloga: Designed to build strength and tone your muscles while improving
flexibility and fostering mind/body harmony.
Relax & Stretch: Will guide you to relax your body by stretching out key
areas to decrease the tension in your muscles.
Restorative Yoga & Reflexology: Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing style
of yoga practice. In restorative the poses are held longer.
TRX®: Full Body strength training using your own body weight.
TRX Yoga: TRX Yoga is a fusion class combining TRX Suspension Training into
your yoga practice. It will help increase your flexibility and tone your
muscles. The TRX straps will assist you in yoga poses as well as make some
traditional poses more challenging. There are different levels for each TRX
Yoga pose, so you can choose the level that is right for you.
Track Workout: This class is designed for Older Adults and uses the Weight
Machines combined with cardio circuits to keep the heart rate up to get an
efficient workout. If you are new to fitness or always wanted to know how
to correctly use the machines, this class is for you!
Seniors Yoga: A gentle yoga to help build flexibility and support balance for
older adults.
Spin/Strength: Start your week off right with a total body workout. We will
do 30-40min of cycling, followed by strength training. The strength training
will include a variety of equipment including TRX, circuits and training
techniques. All levels welcome.
Weights Please!: Increase your metabolism, sculpt your body and realize
your fitness potential by using weights.
Yoga: This class will restore balance by helping to strengthen your body,
calm your mind, regain your focus and improve self- confidence.
Yoga/Core: In this invigorating yoga class you will target your core muscles
to build a stronger body foundation.
Core Strength & Stretch - Two very important components to include in any
fitness program are strengthening the core muscles and STRETCHING! Join
Karen for this one hour class which focuses purely on core conditioning
exercises and lengthening the muscles for a full body stretch.
60 Day Get Fit Challenge *Registered Class
8 weeks away from a whole new you! Lana, a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer
will work with you every step of the way. It doesn't matter if you are newly
motivated or a gym pro- this program will challenge you, encourage you and
must importantly- it will change you! Progress photos, body composition
testing, weekly food journals, nutrition education e-mails and bi weekly
workouts are all included in this 8 week fitness Challenge. At the end of the
8 weeks all participants name will be entered into a draw and one lucky
participant will win a ONE YEAR EASTLINK CENTRE MEMBERSHIP.
Measurements begin on the September 17th & 18th (Saturday & Sunday
10:00 am - 4:00 pm). Final Measurements are on November 12 & 13th
(Saturday & Sunday 10:00 am -4 :00 pm).
