“A Peace of My Mind” John Noltner, author and photographer, lectures on
his multimedia project (on display in Hoover Auditorium), which explores the
meaning of peace, one story at a time.
CHAUTAUQUA LECTURE SERIES
Understanding Music in Context Ross Feller, PhD, Assistant Professor
of Music at Kenyon College, explores the changing definition of music over
the past 60 years.
Health & Wellness Wellness experts, including Sarah Torok-Gerard, PhD,

Peninsula, halfway between Toledo and Cleveland.

Historic Chautauqua Movement seminar on Wednesday. Visit the

LAKESIDE ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP SOCIETY
Participate in youth and adult programs related to the environment
and nature, including tree walks, bird walks, seminars and field trips.
The Lakeside Sailing Center offers week-long lessons for
beginners. Sunfish sailboat, stand up paddleboard and kayak
rentals are available.

Vespers by the Lake offers an end of the day worship experience
on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The Preacher of the Week
provides the message on Tuesday, while Thursday features a

MINIATURE GOLF
Lakeside’s teen center, known as ‘The Underground,’ hosts several
activities throughout the summer.
The courts are open daily, with free lessons on Tuesday.
SHUFFLEBOARD
Celebrating more than 140 years, Hotel Lakeside features
antique furnishings and a beautiful wrap-around porch.
During the summer, enjoy a memorable lakefront dining
experience at the Hotel Lakeside Dining Room.
The hotel is open seasonally from Memorial Day through
Labor Day, as well as for weekends and special events
