up
Drexel
Email
to
your
iPhone
Device
In
your
device,
locate
the
mail
and
tap
it.
If
this
is
your
first
initial
setup,
you
see
a
screen
like
this
below,
select
Other
Note:
As
you
can
see,
iPhone
are
packaged
with
a
couple
preset
email
accounts.
So
if
you
have
account
with
yahoo,
gmail,
and
aol,
the
only
thing
needed
is
your
account
login
information.
Most
clients
of
Drexel
University
don’t
have
Microsoft
exchange,
but
you
might
at
your
place
of
work.
Later
in
this
tutorial
I
will
explain
that
setup
for
Drexel’s
exchange
server.
In
the
screen
to
the
right
you’ll
enter
your
information.
Enter
your
first
and
last
name
Enter
your
email
address
(user
id)
Enter
your
Drexel
password
Give
it
a
brief
description
(optional)
Tap
located
top
right
Note:
Make
sure
that
you
enter
your
correct
Drexel
information,
if
not,
it
will
return
with
an
error
message.
The
settings
below
are
very
important,
make
sure
that
you
enter
them
as
provided.
Incoming
Mail
Server
settings
Host
name:
imap.mail.drexel.edu
User
name:
enter
your
Drexel
user
id
Password:
retains
from
previous
screen,
feel
free
to
change
it
if
you
entered
it
incorrectly
Outgoing
Mail
Server
settings
Host
name:
smtp.mail.drexel.edu
Leave
everything
else
as
optional,
because
they’re
not
required.
Tap
located
top
right
to
finish.
Return
to
Home
screen,
tap
the
Select
Mail,
Contacts,
Calendars
option
Under
accounts,
select
the
newly
created
account
Select
Advanced
Make
sure
that
Use
SSL
is
turned
on
Allow
your
device
a
few
minutes
Adding
Drexel
Exchange
account
to
your
iPhone,
follow
these
instructions
Select
Settings
Select
Mail,
Contacts,
Calendars
Select
Add
Account
Select
Microsoft
Exchange
Enter
your
email
address,
eg.
[email protected]
Enter
your
username,
eg,
abc123
Enter
your
email
password
Select
Next
On
the
prompt,
Unable
to
Verify
Certificate,
select
Accept
For
the
server,
enter
ace.drexel.edu
On
the
prompt,
Unable
to
Verify
Certificate,
select
Accept
After
account
is
verified,
turn
on
contacts
and
calendars,
then
select
Save
Press
the
Home
button
to
go
back
to
Main
Screen
Select
Mail
Select
the
email
account
you
just
added
and
select
Inbox
It
will
start
updating
your
iPhone
with
your
email,
calendar
and
contacts
When
update
is
complete,
go
back
to
Main
Screen
Select
Calendar,
and
your
exchange
calendar
will
be
listed.
