PREDIT’s track record
• Predict 3 represents a volume of M€ 300 subsidies over
5 years, its organization based on intermodal topics was
very invested by the road mode (for the Security topic: 76
cards out of 82 relate to the road mode, that is to say more
than 90%).
• The topic "Carriage of goods" became in fact a refuge
for railway topics.
• The competitiveness clusters contribute to feed the
strategy of the PREDIT while bringing their projects to the
National Agency of Research calls.

French-German Cooperation for land transport
DEUFRAKO has a historical tradition of co-operation in the railway field.
The French subsidies are brought by the PREDIT, which contributes to
support railway research in France. The German subsidies come from the

centers, public and private-sector research organizations
engaged together to develop innovation projects
aiming at marketing new products services
• They are registered in a territory and gather the actors
of an industry
• 66 competitiveness cluster labels were attributed in July
2005: of this total, there are 6 global competitiveness
clusters and 10 globally-oriented competitiveness clusters
(out of 105 projects submitted).
