Etracks_Aug114 CAROLYN S. COX, CHAIRMAN CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE EXPOSING COMMON CORE Common Core violates the 10th Amendment to our Constitution, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively.” Common Core is the total nationalization of education and, if adopted, will forbid state legislatures from making ANY changes to Common Core. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say education is the sole prerogative of the federal government. In 2009, the stimulus bill gave $4.35 billion to the federal Department of Education which created Race to the Top grants. States had to agree to adopt Common Core sight unseen and agree to national tests that had not been written yet to get that money. The online tests will be huge expenses to the state. Common Core is a Trojan Horse that requires all schools in all states to teach a socialist, blame-‐America-‐first program. It was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Major instigators were Bill Ayres and Linda Darling Hammond. One comprehensive YouTube Video to start your research is called Common Core: Dangers and Threats to American Liberty and Education. There are dozens of videos on this topic on YouTube. It is vital that you inform yourself. Look at the math examples–they make no sense. The plan is to gather and store all sorts of information on school children. Microsoft will make billions from the testing and data storage. Common Core plans include eye scans for identification, plus gathering test performance records and medical records. It is truly Big Brother. They have already constructed huge data storage facilities. Furthermore The United Nations Education for All and Common Core will be used to implement Agenda 21. You will be shocked when you learn all that Agenda 21 wants to accomplish by total control over everyone. Pay attention to the position of candidates who either support or oppose Common Core. Talk to them. ******************************************************************* VISIT PIMA GOP’s FACEBOOK PAGE PIMA GOP SPEAKS OUT www.FACEBOOK.COM/PIMACOUNTYGOPSPEAKSOUT FOLLOW THE PIMA GOP ON TWITTER @PimaGOP1 *************** Gubernatorial Candidate Christine Jones MEET & GREET – Saturday, August 2 – 2-3:00pm Wellsman Residence, Oro Valley Contact John & Jennifer Wellsman to RSVP [email protected] ************************ SABINO TEENAGE REPULICANS TAKE TOP NATIONAL AWARDS The Sabino High School TeenAge Republicans attended the National TeenAge Republican Leadership Conference in Washington, DC this past week. His letter, announced in a late Friday press release, comes after the McSally Campaign called on him four different times and four days earlier to do the work he was elected to do, not go on vacation. "We're glad Congressman Barber followed Martha McSally's lead again, but he needs to do more than simply add his name to a letter," said McSally Campaign Spokesman Patrick Ptak. "We need solutions. We need leaders who will take initiative to get things done, not just go through the motions. Martha McSally is a true leader, and she'll work for us to make a difference." The McSally campaign called on Rep. Barber on July 21 to get to work immediately solving the nation's problems, not after Congress' five-week vacation. After three more calls for action and four days later, Congressman Barber released a press release stating he had signed a letter. Congressman Barber has made a habit of failing to show leadership where Martha McSally has done so. Barber didn't act on the A-10 until McSally alerted him in an op-ed, even saying there was no threat to the A-10 as recently as September 2013. It took Barber a full week after McSally acted to call for Secretary Shinseki's resignation at the VA. He also resisted commenting on proposed harmful EPA regulations until McSally called for action, and has still yet to take meaningful action to protect Southern Arizonans from higher energy costs. In total, ObamaCare cuts more than $700 billion from Medicare and $156 billion from Medicare Advantage which hurts seniors in districts across the country. It is clear, Ron Barber's support of the President’s costly and flawed health care law will be the demise of his campaign this midterm election. “Ron Barber and his Democrat allies are waging a war on seniors,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Barber's support of ObamaCare over Medicare will force seniors to lose critical benefits, pay higher premiums and find new doctors.” Medicare turns forty-‐nine years old.(“Happy Birthday, Medicare!,” Manchester City Library, 7/27/14) ObamaCare cuts Medicare by more than $700 Billion. Each play features a high-‐energy variety show we call ‘The Olio’ following the play with more singing, dancing and comedy. Its 2 shows in 1! From the time you enter the theatre, you escape to a place with no worries of everyday life. While you are waiting for the start of the show, you will be treated to a dazzling display of piano pyrotechnics playing music to sing-‐along. Leave your inhibitions outside! When the show starts, be ready to boo and hiss the dastardly villains who justly deserve our scorn. Cheer for the wholesome heroes and innocent heroines, because they truly deserve our praise. The Great American Playhouse actors love audience participation. Who knows, maybe you’ll be dragged on stage! A variety of tasty food selections are optional and can be ordered right at your table.
