The Victorian Barn is a family run venue dedicated to providing a warm, friendly service. We host
a maximum of 20 weddings a year so we can place great emphasis on helping you design and
create your perfect day and to make your wedding a unique and unforgettable experience.
The Victorian Barn, originally built in 1849, has been carefully restored retaining many period
features to create a dream wedding and accommodation venue.
The Victorian Barn has a selection of stunning rooms for civil marriage ceremonies, receptions and
evening celebrations to cater for large or more intimate gatherings.
The magnificent Osborne Hall, within The Victorian Barn and Contemporary Garden Room are
offered with Exclusive Use.
Our luxurious suites within The Victorian Barn can be hired for a more intimate occasion.
The Victorian Barn also offers elegant and spacious accommodation offering you and your guests
the convenience of staying and enjoying this special place for longer.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the oasis that is The Victorian Barn including superb facilities,
indoor heated swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and children’s play area. For health & safety
reasons the hot tubs are not available for wedding parties.

The Osborne Hall
in the centre of the barn is a beautiful room with vast chandeliers,
flagstone floor and underfloor heating.
We also allow couples to remove their decorations and presents the morning after their special
day so there is no rush to vacate and you can enjoy the night with your family and friends.

floor and underfloor heating. The glass ceiling makes the room light and airy while still retaining
some rustic barn charm. A balustrade balcony envelops the hall and can be used by guests, your
photographer, musician or photo booth.

The Garden Room
is a classically decorated room with sumptuous carpeting and
underfloor heating. The state of the art lighting system allows for different moods to be
accommodated. It has floor to ceiling glass doors to bring the outside in.
Our intimate suites also benefit from sumptuous carpeting, the rooms contain comfortable seating
for a more relaxed occasion.
You may like to have different pieces of music as your guests arrive, for signing the register, for
the Processional and the Recessional.
We are happy for you to arrange Musicians to play or accompanying music.

Wedding Breakfast & Evening Receptions
Entering this impressive building as a newly married couple to the applause of family & friends is
a truly magical moment you will never forget.
Your reception can begin with a welcome drink of
your choice, provided by our professional bar along
with delicious canapés to be enjoyed by your
guests.
Guests can also enjoy the beautiful Victorian Barn secluded lush green lawns and countryside and
your photographer will have time to make use of the endless photographic opportunities with
Bulbarrow Hill as the stunning back drop.

If the weather is inclement you and your guests can enjoy socialising in The Albert Suite Bar, there
is plenty of space inside so The Victorian Barn really is an all-weather venue.
Our in house caterer will provide a fantastic wedding breakfast and evening buffet to suit your
tastes and budget, so you don’t have the stress and worry of sourcing your own. You can also
enjoy a tasting at their kitchen or at The Victorian Barn.
Dance the night away to your favourite band, DJ, Disco or Juke Box on the hand crafted Pine floor
of The Osborne Hall or on the dark wood flooring in the Garden Room. Naturally good acoustics.
Once the dancing has finished
in the reception room of your
choice you may decide to
continue the party with the other
residential guests in one of the
spacious suites.

Accommodation
We are pleased to be able to offer stylish accommodation for you and your wedding guests. The
Victorian Barn is unique in that we can provide accommodation for nearly 70 guests, and if you
decide you do not require the additional cottages & lodges, these will remain unused to retain our
offer of exclusive use.
You may choose to stay in the fantastic accommodation the night before your wedding to enjoy
a meal with your guests in a local pub or use one of the self catering kitchens and suites to get
together.
Alternatively, you may wish to stay for one night, the rooms are available from 11 am to enable
you and your guests to dress or freshen up.
The Hayloft, bridal suite is complimentary on the night of your
wedding including a chilled bottle of bubbly and treats.
Departure is extended to 12 mid-day the day after your
wedding for you to enjoy a relaxing time as a newly married
couple.
Guest rooms include a delicious full English cooked breakfast the morning after your wedding for
you and your guests in the dining room so you can meet up and enjoy chatting about your special
day. Complimentary tea and coffee is provided in the accommodation.
