Application description:
The magnetic flowmeter Promag H
is used for the flow measurement
and dosing of water in the buffer
tank of the sugar dissolving station.
The dosing of the right amount of
water in the buffer tank is of great
importance. The precise BRIXdensity value is done via the dosing
the right amount of water together
with sugar.
The Promag H is usually adopted to the pipes via welding pieces, but other connections like
dairy connections acc. to DIN 11851, aseptic connections acc. to DIN 11854 or Clamps can
also be used. The Promag H is available in a diameter range of 2mm to 100mm.
Process conditions:
Media: water
Pressure: up to 3 bar
Temperature: 20 - 80°C
Meas. range: 0 ... 2820 hl/h
Highlights:
• Precise measurement of the water
Because of the high accuracy of the magmeter a precise measurement of the water is
possible.
• Hygienic adaption of the magmeter
Additional to the welding connections a variety of different hygienic process connections
are available, like DIN 11851, DIN 11864, Clamp or SMS.
• Compact or separated version
The Promag H can be delivered in a compact or separated version. Therefore the
magmeter can be placed in difficult spots in the sugar dissolving installation.
• Vacuum tight liner
The Promag H has a specially designed liner which withstands high temperatures and
vacuum shocks.
