Part 1:
Getting Your Game On
If you only ever do one thing that I teach - make it this one.
Because it takes about 10 minutes of your time, costs you
nothing yet significantly increases your chances of
winning... forever.
This can seriously improve your
chances of winning - by anywhere from
10 to 50 times!
Here's how.
The single most important decision you can make is which
lottery game to play.
For most people this never even crosses their mind. And
that lack of 10 minutes planning could be the very thing
that cheats them out of a jackpot win.
Now I know you're already playing at least one lottery
game. But we need to back up just a little here so I can
explain.
But please trust me on this - get this step right first.

Do this and everything else I teach you here will be 10
times more effective.
I'm talking about 'synergy'.
Dictionary: syn·er·gy
The interaction of two or more forces so that their
combined effect is greater than the sum of their
individual effects.
What I mean is this OK:1. I teach you something that increases your chances of
winning by 10 times.
2. Then I teach you something else that increases your
chances by 10 times.
If you then do BOTH things (and I strongly recommend you
do!), your chances of winning become not 20 times better
but 100 times better! That's the power of synergy.
Choosing Your Game
I can guide you, but I can't actually tell you which game to
play. Because that depends on you. It depends what you
consider to be a 'big enough' sum of money to win.

This is so important. And most lottery players get it totally
wrong!
We're attracted by big jackpots. And even more by those
crazy rollover jackpots.
Forget 'em. Powerball is a mugs game!
Why?
Those enormous jackpots are created by rollovers. And
rollovers happen where lotteries have been designed to be
harder to win.
So the larger the jackpot the harder it is to win!
How Much Is Enough
Here's a much better way to attack this.
How big a jackpot would be enough. Would 100 million
really make your life any different than 10 million?
So be honest now - how much would it take to change your
life in the way you want?
If ten thousand would make the difference to your life,
that's cool. Or if a couple of million is what rocks your boat,
that's awesome too. But you need to know the answer.

What Games Are Available?
Find the official website for your lottery company. If you
don't already know it, you may find the web address printed
on your lottery tickets or playslips. (If not try searching
Google for something like 'UK Lotto official site' or 'Canada
lotto official site' etc)
Now most countries have more than one game you can
play.
What I'd like you to do is compare those games to discover
which one you should be playing.
Here's an example:One of my lottery tips friends, Leslie, lives in Florida.
She was playing the multi-state US Powerball game.
Now I don't blame her for picking that game. They
advertised it a lot. And it was fairly new to Florida so was an
exciting new toy.
And boy does it have some crazy exciting jackpots. Often
over 100 million US dollars, sometimes over 200 million.
Just for the jackpot prize. So what a great game to play
eh..?
But do you know the odds of winning that jackpot?

They are amongst the worst of any lottery game anywhere
in the world. Your chances are worse than 1 in 175 million..!
Truly awful.
So my first piece of advice to Leslie was to pick a better
game.
In the end she chose the 'Mega Money' game. It's top prize
is only about 500,000 US dollars. But the odds of winning
that prize are about 1 in 3 million.
That's instantly FIFTY-EIGHT times better.
(To get the same odds on Powerball she would have to buy
58 tickets!)
Now Mega Money wouldn't be the choice for everybody.
Some would want to play for a higher prize than that. But
this level of prize suited Leslie and switching game instantly
gave her an enormous boost in her chances of actually
winning it!
How To Compare Games
The odds for your local lottery games should be published
on the official website of the lottery company. Sometimes
they can be a bit hard to find, so dig deep for them. Typical
places to look are sections called How To Play, Important

Information, Game Procedures, or even in the Terms and
Conditions.
You will probably have to look at each game separately after all they wouldn't want you comparing too easily now...
Here's an example from the Florida lottery website, firstly
the Powerball game:-
Sometimes these tables can be a bit confusing. But here
you can see the top line shows the details for matching all 5
of the main (white) balls plus the (red) 'Powerball'.
So this means you have to 'match all 5 of the 5 balls drawn
and the Powerball' to get the Jackpot.
The big number is the odds. This means your chances of
winning that prize are 1 in 175,223,510.

(Confused about odds? Think of a dice. It has 6 sides each
with a different number. When you roll it you get one
number come up. So the odds of each number coming up
are 1 in 6. Simple.)
Here's the details for the Mega Money game:-
So here we see:
4 of 4 + MEGABALL
$500,000
N/A
1:2,986,522
So matching 4 of the 4 balls plus the Megaball gets you
$500,000. And you odds are 1 in 2,986,522.
Comparing Odds
Now the bigger the number the harder it is to win. That's
because the big number is the total number of possible
results.
So if everybody who played picked a totally different set of

numbers it would still need over 175 million people to play
before you could guarantee 1 of them would win that
Powerball jackpot!
So the lower the number the better.
But here's another useful trick. If you divide the big
numbers from different games you can tell more clearly how
much better the odds are.
So if we divide the big Powerball number by the big Mega
Money number...
175,223,510 divided by 2,986,522
We get roughly 58. That means the Powerball is 58 times
harder to win than Mega Money!
Or as I said to Leslie above, you would have to buy 58
Powerball tickets just to get the same chance of winning the
jackpot as Mega Money..! Ouch.
Don't Forget The Ticket Price!
Make sure you also note down the ticket prices of all the
games. After all, it's no good finding a game with better
odds only to discover at the store the tickets are actually ten
times the price!

Part 2:
Want Another HUGE Boost To Your
Winning Chances?
Winning the lottery is simply about increasing your chances
as much as possible. Then waiting for Lady Luck to visit!
Add this step too and you could be
playing with 2,000 times the chance of
winning than when you last bought a
ticket! Remember the power of 'synergy'..?
So why not take a bunch of other peoples money, and buy
lots of lottery tickets with that.
Seriously!
It's no secret! You have heard of this, it's called a lottery
syndicate or lottery pool.
It's where you and some friends or work colleagues put
your money together, buy tickets, and then split the
winnings.
What better way to get a huge increase in your chances of
winning without it costing you a bunch of money.

(If you can't remember the last time you won even the
smallest prize - then a syndicate is a no brainer!)
But You Have To Share..?
Yes, you only get a share of the winnings, but with the right
balance of players, game and tickets - your jackpot share
will still be big enough.
Plus the added bonus that you might now actually win it!
You can start one yourself. This is cool because it lets you
pick the game and determine the strategy - so long as you
can find enough other people also wanting to play the same
way. It's also the cheaper option.
But please don't underestimate the work of collecting
money, buying tickets and distributing prizes.
It can be soul-destroyingly hard to explain for the 50th time
to someone why they can't “just owe you this weeks”... :-)
Let Someone Else Do The Work
There are syndicates out there that are open to everyone,
so do consider this if you don't want to run your own. Some
are very much a one man band but can be good, whilst
others are proper professional companies.

As with most things, you get what you pay for. You won't
be able to pick the exact strategy of play when joining
someone elses pool, but for an instant 50 times increase in
your chances of winning, don't dismiss it too quickly!
You may even want to split your budget between buying
your own tickets and playing in a pool, to get the best of
both worlds.
If you want an amateur syndicate, ask around at work or
ask friends and family if they play in one. Or if you're up for
the challenge, start your own.

2. Find out the odds, prizes and ticket costs for all the
games you are interested in.
3. Work out which game gives you the prize you want at
the lowest odds.
4. Think seriously about playing in a syndicate – this can
be as well as your normal tickets (more about
