Stark Carpet launches Rug Star’s debut UK collection
at Focus/16 during London Design Festival 2016

Luxury rug and carpet company Stark Carpet will launch a curated selection of
Jürgen Dahlmanns’ Rug Star collection at Focus/16 during this year’s London Design
Festival.

Stark Carpet, renowned worldwide for its fine quality innovative carpets and rugs, has
teamed up with Berlin based designer Jürgen Dahlmann to launch his creatively
eclectic and highly individual Rug Star collection in the UK. Multi award-winning Rug
Star offers an extravagant range of contemporary fine quality designed rugs that
span the aesthetic spectrum from oriental-inspired and nature referencing to abstract
expressionist, Pop and geometric.
Rug Star already has established showrooms in Augsburg, Zurich and two in both
Berlin and Beijing that serve the residential and commercial sectors in addition to
1 retail clients. This is the first time however that the range will be displayed in London
for UK-based designers and retail customers to browse and explore first hand.

The Rug Star collection will be launched during London Design Festival at the Design
Centre, Chelsea Harbour in a pop-up gallery on the second floor throughout
Focus/16. Following Focus, the collection will be displayed at Stark’s showroom on
the 3rd floor of the Design Centre, one of the main destinations for designers and
clients looking for innovative, fine quality contemporary floor carpets and rugs in the
UK.
The selection of Rug Star’s range includes, Splash, Eden and Four Parrots, providing
a modern, quirky and vibrant offering, with each one complementing the Stark
offering.
