The Trent Swim Club program couldn’t operate without the help of these generous supporters. Do your best to support our community partners… Swimmers are selected because they stood out to the coach as someone who demonstrated excellence in their training, character and leadership. Senior: Katherine Scheuermann has been working hard the past month to get herself ready for provincials. Constantly working on her butterfly technique and emphasizing her turn work she has made huge improvements moving into her final short course meet. Junior: Cam Webb has been hammering it out swimmingly in the pool and on land getting himself back in swimming shape after some time off. Great hard work and dedication like this are what makes a great teammate and athlete. Keep up the great work. AG3: Miller Armstrong has not only overcome some developed shoulder injury with consistent rehabilitation work but did it with a positive attitude. She was able to race all four strokes for the first time at Regional’s this month, and was already back where she was before her injury. I look forward to seeing what she can do in this coming long course season! AG2: Gavin Grimm has had an outstanding season thus far, from the first devo meet, to Gatineau, to this past Weekend’s Pentathlon his times have continued to improve. It comes as no surprise with his impressive attendance and work ethic in practice. AG1: Sloan Appleby raced her first competition with AG1 in Lindsay in February and has been swimming with the AG2 group on Tuesday mornings occasionally as a make-up. She not only keeps up, she challenges herself beyond the minimum. Keep up the great work ethic Sloan!!
