Grow Your Spirit
Coming Wednesdays in September, starting
September 9th: “Grow Your Spirit.”
“Grow Your Spirit” will replace our traditional
worship services on Wednesdays in Friend2
ship Hall at 3:00 PM. Our first “Grow Your
Spirit” will be a DVD series: “Where Jesus
Walked.” Produced by the Biblical Archeology Society, “Where Jesus Walk” documents
the life and times of Jesus as revealed by archeology. It features on site interviews with
17 leading archeologist. Our September series will be followed in October with a series
entitled: “Facts of Prayer.” Each month will
feature a spiritual topic to help us grow our

AARP Driver Safety Class at Friendship Village
Monday, September 28th (Sarah’s Grove)
and Tuesday, September 29th (Salt Creek
Room) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM – Take this
8-hour classroom refresher course and you
may qualify for a discount on your auto insurance. Please check with your agent. The
fee is $15.00 for AARP Members and $20.00
for non-members and paid on the first day

from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Salt Creek
Room – Meditation helps reduce stress, increases productivity and improves
concentration. More importantly, it emphasizes finding spiritual fulfillment. Dr. Tim
Fior, M.D., will review the physical, mental,
emotional and spiritual benefits of meditation and show you how to develop the
meditation techniques for overcoming difficulties stilling the mind. Sign up is required
