Dear New Students and Families:
Welcome to Salisbury! As a new student in either Salisbury Middle School or Salisbury High School, I would
like to introduce you to our teaching and learning initiative – Teaching and Learning 2020 (TL2020). TL2020
is designed to bring to life our progressive vision for education in the 21st century. The initiative provides
increased learning opportunities by providing all students in Middle and High School with a MacBook Pro
personal computing device to use at school and at home.
Please take the time to read the enclosed documents and visit TL2020.org to learn more about the program.
All new students and families are invited to attend a special orientation and distribution (12:00 – 1:30 PM) on
Friday, August 15 in Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road. Please RSVP to Mary Bishop
([email protected] or 610-797-2062, ext. 1000) by Wednesday, August 13 so your laptop computer will be
ready and available for you.
If you have any questions about TL2020, please contact your school principal.
• High School Principal – Heather Morningstar ([email protected] or 610-797-4107)
• Middle School Principal – Robert Cassidy ([email protected] or 610-791-0830)
• Assistant Superintendent – Randy Ziegenfuss ([email protected] or 610-797-2062)
I look forward to meeting you on August 15 and wish you much success in Salisbury in the years ahead!
Sincerely,
Randy M. Ziegenfuss, Ed.D.
