Repackaging Instructions: Items you will need for repacking: 20 long zip ties Original bubble wrap or replacement bubble wrap (can be purchased at a packing store) Original foam blocks or replacement foam blocks (can be purchased at a packing store: please do not use packing peanuts) Please watch the video below that details how to fully repackage the ElliptiGO: Videos “C” series repacking video: http://youtu.be/8hYteaXvF1w . 8S/11R repacking video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dla2xV_V4Nc We do have unpacking videos-the beginning shows what the bike should look like once you are finished packing it: http://www.elliptigo.com/Unpacking-8C We recommend placing the entire bike on the empty box with the flaps open (across the width of the box). This will make the repacking much easier and will enable you to place the first foam block that goes underneath the bike by the kickstand. From there you can work through the process including removing the front wheel and folding the handlebars down on the 8S/11R or removing them for the “C” series models. Important: Please make sure to protect the fork by using the fork protector and zip tying it into place (please see the photo below) Once the bike is packaged up, it is much easier to drop the bike down into the box by placing the fork in the box first followed by the rear wheel. You should have extra foam blocks after securing the required ones to the bike. These should be placed in the front of the bike between the headtube and the box and on top of the bike below the flaps that fold to close the box. This keeps the bike from shifting around in the box during shipping. If you have any questions about the repacking process, please contact us at [email protected] or at 858222-7309 (Monday-Friday, 9-5 PST).
