have at least fifteen images. Be
sure to include a song that is either
from the Romantic Period or has a
romantic style.
Homework
1. Create a collage with
images of the Romantic
Period and write a onepage reflection on why you
chose those images and
how they fit into
Romanticism.
2. Go over study guide for
test on Romanticism.
Students will be assessed through a
slideshow like one that they have
created and will be asked to
explain what each image identifies
in the Romantic Period. This will
be done individually. Students will
also write a short answer of their
favorite work discussed in class

MODIFICATIONS/ACCOMODATIONS:
English Language Learner:
For those students who have difficulty
understanding my lecture I will have a worksheet
created that lists the main characteristics of the
Romantic Period in simpler terms and with
provided definitions so they can always go back
and re-read if they have any problems at home.
These students will be asked to do the slideshow
just like the rest of the class because it requires
no English proficiency to complete. As for the
reflection that goes with the collage, English
Language Learners will be asked provide three
sentences instead of a page long reflection. I am
also always available to students for extra help
after school and am open to any modifications
that are reasonable to the curriculum and
comfortable for the student.
Students will be able to create visual
representations of their knowledge of
Romanticism through a technological
devices.
