Wild Play explained
We think it's important that you can explore
nature and get grazed knees and grass
stains, so we've created this trail to test your
limits in the wild!
There are two main play features on the
trail: Bo
Climbing, Pump Pool and Paddle
and Hidden hideouts. See what mischief you
can manage here!
Seek out the sky seat, 'oven' tree, body
serve, springboard, Poohsticks bridge and
hunt for bugs – they are natural features
which you can play with. It's all in the
imagination! What will the sleeping giant do
when he wakes up? Imagine the octopus
tree under the sea. Who lives behind the
fairy door, and what could lurk in our
perilous pond and bug hotel?
Oh and don't forget – don't let
the grown-ups wander off!

settled here over 800 years ago.
Our waterways are very old and fragile so please
don't paddle in them.
Instead, pop across to our Pump, Pool and Paddle
area of Wild Play, which is perfect for splashing
around and cooling down!
