Hello, my name is James Agee and I am from South Plainfield, NJ. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2015 after
attending St. John’s University, which is located in Queens, NY, for my freshman year. I am a law and justice studies
major with a minor in sociology. I am also a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma Honor Society. I spend most of my time
at the recreation center playing basketball or working out and enjoy watching sports. I am really looking forward to
the opportunity to help and meet new people here at Rowan!

Hello! My name is Briana Bergin and I’m from West Deptford, NJ. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2014 from
Towson University. Prior to Towson, I attended Gloucester County College now Rowan college of Gloucester County. I
am a senior Business Management and Human Resource Management dual major. I currently work as an intern in
the Human Resources Department at the University of the Arts in Center City Philadelphia. I also am the Current
Senator and future Vice President of Tau Sigma which is a National Honor Society for Transfers. I enjoy many
different genres of music, binge watching Netflix and reading all different types of books. I love watching the
Philadelphia Eagles, and I really love dogs. I’m really excited about being a Transfer Mentor!

My name is Joe Bilson this is going to be my senior year at Rowan university. I am Majoring in history but also I am in
the education program to become an elementary school teacher that has been my dream job ever since I was a child
l. I am a very outgoing person and always willing to help when anyone is in need. Rowan is a wonderful campus and
you can grow with the faculty staff and your friends at Rowan. I've learned that by attending Rowan you will gain the
best friendships and that is the best feeling. My goal is to make sure you are feeling 100 percent ready for the
semester and ready to do well in classes. I was once a transfer student and because of the wonderful staff at Rowan I

time with my family. I work in the Information Resources and Technology Department at Rowan and am a part of

Hey, my name is Jeff Dib and I’m from Marlton, NJ. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2015 from Burlington County
College after completing my A.S. in Engineering and have loved the decision to come here. I’m studying Civil &
Environmental Engineering and am involved as a member of ASCE and the treasurer of SAME. Since transferring, I’ve
worked with the New Jersey Army National Guard through Rowan’s clinic program to promote sustainability and
reduce the National Guard’s carbon footprint. I love playing and watching sports, especially the Yankees, Knicks, and
NYCFC, and I also work as a baseball umpire and basketball referee in South Jersey. If you have any questions, feel

Hey guys! My name is Brooke Eisenberg and I am from Short Hills, NJ. I eventually transferred from Rowan College at
Gloucester County in the fall of 2015, however, I have made my way through Drexel University in Philadelphia and
University of Hartford in Connecticut. I am currently a junior studying Communication and I am planning on going to
law school after I graduate. I am currently a member of the Pre-Law Society here on campus. I also work for the
Alumni Student Call Center. Saying I love cats is an understatement… I am OBSESSED with them! I am a proud mother
of my two fur-sons Patrick and Peanut. I’m looking forward to helping transfer students like I fall in love with Rowan

transfer student beginning spring of 2016. I am a junior in Law and Justice Studies. I earned my Associate Degree
from Rowan College at Gloucester County. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society and Boy
Scouts of America. Here at Rowan University, I am a member of Tau Sigma, Academic Success Center, Asian Cultural
Organization, Pre-Health Society and Pre-Law Society for now. I love reading, cooking, and traveling and I enjoy
outdoor activities such as running, hiking, fishing, and camping. I look forward to being a mentor to students new to

Hi everyone. My name is Kaitlyn Fedor and I am currently a Senior Public Relations and Fine Arts double major here
at Rowan. I am originally from Hamilton NJ but live off campus in Glassboro during the school year. Before Rowan, I
completed three semesters at Wilkes University and one semester at Mercer County Community College. At Rowan
University, I am a member of the University's Women Soccer team, a member of PRSSA (a public relations group on
campus) and induction committee chair and event specialist for Tau Sigma's Transfer Honor Society. I also work in the
athletic office as part of the of the Federal Work Study program. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can

of 2015. Upon coming to Rowan, I have declared myself as an elementary education: liberal studies major and a
Spanish minor. My other interests include volunteering, bowling, dancing to any kind of music, and making people
smile. Since I have been at Rowan, I have joined Self-Defense/Karate Club and the NJSEA (New Jersey Student
Education Association) Club. My first semester at Rowan University was a blast, but I am even more excited for my
second semester because I am looking forward to helping make the Transfer Mentor program a success!

Camden, and I studied abroad spring 2015 in Florence, Italy. I enjoy working out, crafting, the beach, and some of my

Hello, my name is Teresa Mahler and I'm from Leonia, NJ. I am a sociology major with an applied sociology
concentration. I actually transferred twice: from Providence College in Providence, RI, then I got my Associate's from
Bergen Community College. Even after two moves, I will still be graduating in four years, so I am a great example of how
transfers can make the most of their time in school and keep on top of their credits. Here at Rowan, I am the secretary
for Catholic Campus Ministry, a member of the Bantivoglio Honors Concentration and Alpha Kappa Delta (national
sociology honor society), and the intern for the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, where I have helped with
research and department development. In my free time, I love to do yoga, read, and hang out with my friends.

as baseball and women's soccer. I love to watch professional sports, especially the New York Yankees and Giants. The

Hi! My name is Elisa Obedoza and I’m from Sewell, NJ in Washington Township. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2013
from Drexel University. I started at Drexel as an undecided engineering major but switched majors to become a business
administration major. As a student at Rowan, I am now a marketing major with a minor in communication studies and
international studies. At Rowan, I am a member of five different honor societies and a sister of Alpha Sigma Alpha
Sorority. I’m also a commuter so with my clubs and extracurricular activities, I’m ALWAYS at Rowan! I enjoy meeting new
people and am adventurous person that likes to explore new places and learn about different cultures. I am very

Sociology. I transferred to Rowan in the fall of 2015 from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. I hope to pursue law
school at some point- that being if I'm willing to take on that much debt! However, I currently work with dogs for a
living, so you'll probably see me with some of my work pups at events on campus! Feel free to email me at any time with
questions or concerns about campus or any events we are holding! As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I hope to
relate to more transfers on issues that other students do not face. However, I aspire to help ALL fellow transfers get

Monroeville New Jersey. This is my first semester here, after earning my Associates Degree from Salem Community
College. I am majoring in Psychology with hopes of becoming a therapist in my future. I love helping people, which is one
of the reasons I am so excited about being a transfer mentor. In my free time I love spending time with friends and

My name is Brandon Selig and I’m from Germansville, PA. I transferred to Rowan in the spring of 2016. I’m a psychology
major, presently. However, I transferred from Lehigh Carbon Community College where I was previously a nursing
major. At Rowan, I am involved with Rowan University Emergency Medical Services and this is my first year as a Transfer
Mentor. Outside of Rowan, I am a Volunteer Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician at Neffs Vol. Fire Co. I’m
employed part-time as an Emergency Medical Technician at Cetronia Ambulance Corps. For many years, I was involved
in the Boy Scouts of America, where I obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. I also am a 4-H alumni. During my time with 4-H,
I completed yearly projects, such as raising dairy beef, sheep, and I participated in many leadership positions. My
hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family. I love animals
and own over 20 pets.

Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ just outside of Newark. I am currently pursuing a degree in law and justice. On
campus I am involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, the Catholic Campus Ministry, the Petey Greene Prisoner
Assistance Program, and Rowan University College Republicans. Off campus, I enjoy crafting, crocheting, coaching the
Kingsway Elite Senior cheerleading team, and hanging out with my friends and family. Through being a transfer mentor, I

fall of2015 after earning my Associates degree in Psychology at Salem Community College. I'm currently working
towards my BA in Psychology, with Specialization in Behavioral Services. This college is amazing, with hundreds of
options, programs, and activities for all students. I'm here to help in any way I can. I love to take naps, paint, and watch

National Honor Society for Transfer Students. I also substitute teach at a local school district. I love meeting new people
and creating new friendships. I absolutely love my rescue dog and doing anything with animals. I also volunteered at

Epsilon, Lambda Pi Eta and Order of Omega. This summer I was the Learning & Organizational Development intern at

Hello Everyone! My name is Marissa. I’m an intern for Rowan’s Transfer Services. I started at Rowan in 2011 as an undergraduate
student. While I was in undergrad, I majored in Sociology and minored in Anthropology. I was involved with Greek Life, Alpha Kappa
Delta Honor Society, and the Gay/Straight Alliance (which has since been replaced by Prism and True Colors). I decided to stay at
Rowan for graduate school. My graduate program is Higher Education Administration. In addition to being an intern with Transfer
Services, I work with Tutoring Services as a graduate coordinator. Outside of academics, I enjoy volunteering, reading, knitting,
playing videogames and listening to music. My favorite genres of music are punk rock and electronica. I am looking forward to a fun,
