The undersigned has the honour to
REPORT:-
THAT by virtue of the powers conferred by the "Doukhobor
Lands Acquisition Act", being chapter 12 of the "Statutes of
1939", His Majesty the King in the right of the Provinoe has
aoquired the lands hereinafter referred to.
AND THAT it is expedient that the said lands be administered and dealt with by the Land Settlement Board.
AND TO RECOMMEND THAT pursuant to seotion 3 of the said
"Doukhobor Lands Acquisition Aot" and to section 41 of the "Land
Settlement and Development Act", being chapter 141 of the "Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1936", all the right, title,
interest, claim and demand of His Majesty of, in and to the lands
described in the Sohedule annexed hereto be transferred and conveyed to the said Land Settlement Board.
AND THAT a certified copy of this Minute, if approved, be
accepted by the District Registrars of Titles at Nelson and Kamloops as a conveyance of the said lands without further formal
instrument of transfer and without payment of fees.
