Homework
Happy New Year Students and Parents. As we begin the New Year, students will be learning
about Two-Dimensional Shapes. They will learn to identify and draw points, lines, rays, and
angles. Students will classify triangles by the size of their angles. They will learn to identify and
draw parallel and perpendicular lines. Students will sort quadrilaterals and they will determine
lines of symmetry. There is a Quiz on Friday January 13, 2017.
Students have access to 6 Think Central assignments which review Chapter 10. While the
lessons are not mandatory, they will help your child review the lessons. Please feel free to
contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected].
i-Ready - Please check your child’s agenda for the number of lessons required for a homework
grade. The completed lessons are due Sunday night. Students must complete a quiz at the
end of each i-Ready lesson in order to receive credit for completion. REMINDER – Students
will receive a Quiz Grade every 4 weeks based on i–Ready completion.
Notes
Students MUST underline key words in the word problem and MUST prove and show all their
work. *Please use your Journal Notes to help guide you in solving the problem.
