Exercise 1 Proofreading for Capitalization
Proofreading Proofread the following sentences, using proofreading symbols to indicate letters that
should be capitalized or made lowercase.
Symbols
Capitalize.
Make lowercase.
EXAMPLE The three gorges dam is located on a River in china.
1. The project involved flooding the yangtze river near the City of chongqing.
2. The three Gorges that are part of the Dam are the qutang gorge, the wu gorge, and the
xilang gorge.
