In 2013, LAKOS became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lindsay Corporation, which has allowed expansion into new markets and customer groups Working as part of a team within the Marketing and Sales Department, the Regional Sales Manager provides the management of all distribution channels for sales into the Midwestern region. This individual will make sales and application calls, perform trainings, participate in various trade show events and promote the sales of assigned LAKOS products. Key business accountabilities and objectives: • • • • • Meet quarterly and annual sales objectives Sales prospecting, lead generation and product training Strengthen/grow relationships with key distributors to grow LAKOS sales in Midwest market Assess the Midwest market and develop a strategy to grow and manage accounts in this market. Make appointments and work through territory assessing strength of current distribution. Expectations: • • • • • Demonstrate Lindsay values, particularly attracting and retaining customers for life, honesty, integrity and trust in relationships and communications. Communicate all important issues relative to job performance, employee safety, and product quality, achievement of individual goals in a timely and effective manner. Follow up as appropriate on outstanding issues. Demonstrate a strong customer orientation by being willing to go the extra mile to resolve customer issues. Don’t accept the status-quo. Continue to raise performance expectations in all areas. Interact with customers and others to build confidence in products and services. Pursue continuous learning in area of expertise and share knowledge. Qualifications/specifications: • • • • • Minimum of three years sales experience, preferably in the water well market. Experience with direct and indirect selling through distribution to irrigation/water well contractors Intermediate to advanced skills with PowerPoint, Excel and Word Ability to travel at least 75% Position is based in territory served We believe that work should be rewarding as well as challenging.
