Altered Store Schedule. The holiday season is upon us, and that means travel, even for Mary.
Please note that the store will be CLOSED on the following days because Mary needs to be
somewhere else!
This weekend, November 7-8-9, Mary will be teaching at Kid ‘N Ewe! This festival in Boerne,
Texas, is a great place to shop and learn.

Fiber Featured in Ply Magazine! Did you see our Suriland fiber featured
in the current issue of Ply magazine? It is available in 6 colors in the
store (white, brown, green, teal, red, lilac). Jacey describes it as
“amazing” and “soft as buttah” and we are pretty happy that she likes it.

Fun Make & Take Days in November! We have lots of fun “make and
take” activities scheduled for November.
Nov. 15, 10:30-4:30: Spin a Christmas Garland! Use one of Mary’s wheels to create a totally
unique garland to decorate your tree or mantle or wherever you want some holiday sparkle!

Zoom Loom Play Day! Try out a Zoom Loom, the portable, way to weave. We’ll show
you how to turn your woven squares into decorations and many other things.
Nov. 22, 10:30-4:30: Felted Christmas Chain. Remember those chains we used to make out of
construction paper as kids? We’ve updated and fiber-ized that old standard decoration into
something new! Create felted chains using ArtFelt paper that will add a new style to your
decorations.
Nov. 29, 10:30-4:30: Felted Christmas Ornaments. We’ll have felted balls all ready for you to
decorate to your hearts desire! Make your decorations unique!
Cricket Club! All rigid heddle weavers are welcome, no matter what brand
or style of loom you weave on. Come be inspired by what others are
weaving, and share what you are working on. I will have fabric I’m
weaving from my art yarn to show, and pictures from our painted warp
workshop (So.Much.Fun). Anyone weaving for gifts? Show us what your
are doing! We’ll have a holiday share and party on November 22nd from
1:00-4:00 and no meeting in December.
What’s on YOUR Gift List? The store is chock full of toys that all need to be sold before January
1st. Now is the time to buy yourself something special, or drop big hints about a specific item, or

On Thursdays we Spin! Come join us every Thursday (except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day,
and New Year’s Day, as we gather at the shop to spin. Don’t spin? You’re still welcome! Bring
your knitting, crochet, beading, weaving, whatever, and join us. There’s a chair in the circle, and a
comfy couch, waiting for YOU!
2015 Winter Fiber Fun Retreat! Registration for the 2015 Winter Fiber Fun Retreat so-sponsored
by the Knitting Fairy and Fancy Fibers will open to the general public on November 15th! Check the
website for the class schedule and other information. Early Bird registration will start tomorrow,
