Easter Boosters All of our Year 2 and Year 6 children have been invited to attend booster classes over the Easter holiday. The booster th st classes will run from Tuesday 29 March until Friday 1 April during the morning. If you have yet to return your letters then please do so we can make the necessary arrangements for these classes to go ahead. Parking Around School Please can we remind all motorists about the importance of parking safely around the school grounds, especially during morning drop off and afternoon pick up. These are incredibly busy times and there are often children walking on the pavements and crossing roads. Our number one priority is ensuring that children are safe walking to and from school. Therefore we are asking all motorists to be more cautious and think before they park. Inconsiderate parking causes congestion and also endangers lives. Family Breakfast th We would like to invite all our parents and carers to attend a family breakfast on Friday 11 March at 9.00am in the school hall. We will be serving coffee and breakfast which will be provided by the school and look forward to seeing you there and having a chance to catch up. The lost property will also be available on this morning for you to look through. Any items left at the end of the morning will be donated to charity or our uniform shop. Parents Evening th th We will be holding our next parent consultation evening on Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 March. Letters have been sent out for booking a time slot. If you have yet to book a slot then please contact your child’s teacher immediately. During both evening’s, our Chair of Governors will be asking parents to complete a quick online questionnaire which will be used to gather your views. We thank you in advance for taking the time to do this as it helps us as a school to be able to reflect on what we do well and what we can do to further improve. British Science Week th On Monday 14 March the whole school will be taking part in a ‘Mad Science’ day. During the day all the children will be taking part in fun science experiments. At the end of the week in celebration assembly we will be choosing a super star scientist from each class to receive the CVPS super learner award.
