FAQs
What are the recommended items to bring?
We strongly encourage bringing the following:
 Water shoes with heel strap that can get dirty (it will be
muddy and wet at certain intervals).
 Closed-top reusable water bottle
 Bug spray
 Towel to sit on and to dry off
 Hat
 Sunglasses
 Sunscreen
 Dry bag if you plan on taking any items with you (i.e.
phone, camera, etc.)
 Clothes to change into after adventure completion
Is lunch provided?
 Yes. We provide a boxed lunch
Where is the tour located?
The launch site is situated near Apollo Beach, at The Florida
Aquarium’s Center for Conservation. We are located
minutes off I-75 and just south of Tampa Electric’s Manatee
Viewing Center. The address is 6650 Dickman Road, Apollo
Beach, Florida 33572.

What are the age restrictions for the tour?
We require children be a minimum age of six years old.
Children age 6-12 must have a paying adult (18yrs+)
kayaking with them.
Is there a minimum weight for this adventure?
Yes, children must be a minimum of 55lbs to participate in
this kayak adventure.
Are there any restrooms available?
Restrooms are available during lunch at the halfway point in
Apollo Beach. However, we recommend that you use the
restroom prior to arrival.
Is there any drinking water available?
We will have water available at every stop while on the tour.
We recommend you bring a closed top refillable water
bottle or container with you. We will also be providing a
reusable foldable canteen style bottle at the beginning of
the kayak trip.
What do you see on the tour?
Every tour is unique and you will be kayaking through lush,
coastal mangroves with the possibility of seeing a variety of
birds, crabs, fish, and stingrays! Florida coastlines are teeming
with wildlife. Keep your eyes open for a variety of animals!
Are there any maximum weight restrictions on the kayaks?
The tandem kayaks have a combined weight limit of 550lbs.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all forms of credit card. Call our reservations line at
813-273-4015 to reserve and pay for your trip.
How does weather affect the trip?
Safety is one of our main concerns. We reserve the right to
cancel or shorten any trip due to unfavorable weather or water
conditions.
