Her smile so bright and eyes that would shine
Just to sit and chat about her day and mine.
A hug so warm, filled with loving care
In her arms you are safe from the world out there.
Oma, mum, friend and wife
She gave us all memories we will hold for life.
When time and life seems hard to bear
Oma you were always there.
Always there to take your hand
To share, to care to help me stand.
To see your face would light my day
Taking all my cares away.
In life she was the glue that holds
The family together through life’s tolls
To make us strong, to stand up tall
To make you proud was to be strong when we fall
The angels leant you just for a while
To show us how to love and smile
To know that now you watch over us
In that we much always trust.
That you are there in our heart and our souls
With the loving memories that we hold
The gift of you is hard to loose
