Presentation
The OA-O detector is an smoke detector. It is based on the principle of the « Tyndall effect »
caused by diffusion of light by particles.
The variation of intensity perceived by the infrared receiver is analyzed by a programmed electronic unit that makes
a decision about the state of the detector and outputs the electronic result signal of the analysis made by the sensor.
The basic version of the monitored electronic unit has 8 preprogrammed detection levels, so that a malfunction
signal can be sent if there is a failure of the sensitive element.
A change in the threshold level can be programmed in the time cycles, as a function of the associated control unit.
This detector comprises a red light indicator used for signaling of the fire alarm. An output is used for remote
repetition of this information.
The OA-O detector included an isolator of short circuit.
It is made using internal processes and its discrete and modest appearance blend it into any type of decoration.
