Delaware Valley University Student Caller Position Description Title: Student Caller Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at: $8.50/hour Potential for weekly bonuses and yearly raises depending on student performance Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Annual Fund Coordinator you will foster strong relationships with alumni, parents, and community members and help to raise current year operational dollars in order to help maintain and improve the DelVal educational experience. This position offers a unique opportunity for students to network with alumni and to learn about non-profit and fundraising work. Principal duties: Raise money in support of the DelVal Fund through the annual phonathon program Foster positive relationships with alums, parents, and community members Inform alumni about DelVal news, events and other activities on campus via your phone calls Requirements: Attend training sessions Available to work at least 1 shift(s) per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 5:30-8:00 p.m.) Exercise good telephone manners Possess a strong work ethic Confidence in asking for specific amounts of money over the phone Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled DelVal student. Individual should possess a knowledge of and demonstrated interest and/or involvement in the DelVal community. Excellent oral and interpersonal skills are required.
