WICKED is on tour and hits the Hippodrome Theatre in
Baltimore! Long before Dorothy drops in, two other
girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald
green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other
is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Follow these
two unlikely friends and college roommates as they grow
into very different women. Recreation & Parks has been traveling to
New York City for years for this experience...now is your opportunity
to see it right here in Baltimore! Immediately after the show, board
your waiting motor coach right outside to get you back home. Included:

32-mile round trip through the mountains between Cumberland and

graves in the cemetery. In order to do this, they are asking everyone to go
on to their website WreathsAcrossAmerica.org and sponsor a wreath (click
on the sponsor link and chose to buy one or more wreathes at $15 each*).
Community service hours for students can be acquired through this project-bring your form. We will go over a briefing at the cemetery. After the
completion of the project, the bus will take us Union Station for lunch on
your own. Depart from the Carroll County Office building, 225 N. Center

ICE! Christmas at the Gaylord

Join us for an evening Christmas journey to the Gaylord National Hotel on
the Potomac River just outside of Washington DC. This trip is planned in
the evening so that we can take in all of the outdoor lights as well as the
decorations in the Atrium of the hotel. Dinner will be at the Pienza Italian
Market in the atrium of the hotel, accompanied by a visit to ICE! - which
will feature TWO MILLION POUNDS of ice carved into a walk-through
attraction of ten larger-than-life, three-dimensional holiday scenes, including
a Nativity Scene with a 25-foot-tall ice angel, and a Christmas Castle with
ice slides standing more than two stories tall. Marvel at the striking detail
and beautiful, theatrical renderings of beloved Christmas icons and memorable holiday scenes, all housed in a custom-built structure maintained at a
temperature of nine degrees (winter coats will be provided) There will also
be time to look around the new facilities! Included are roundtrip motor
coach transportation, driver’s gratuity, dinner and admission to ICE!

Join Carroll County Recreation and Parks as we go to Arlington Cemetery
to volunteer assisting with the placing of wreaths on the graves in this annual event. Wreaths Across America began in 2006 as an offshoot of the
Arlington National Cemetery wreath project, which was started in 1992
with the annual placement of wreaths donated by Worcester Wreath Co.

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is the classic story
of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and
the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a
spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved,
the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is
running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Included in this trip is an orchestra
seat, lunch at Sabatino’s Restaurant in Little Italy, Baltimore, and driver’s
gratuity. We will depart for lunch in Little Italy and then board the bus for
our 2pm show time at the Hippodrome Theatre. Depart from the Carroll

It’s been a long time since we planned an overnight trip to New York City! We
have some great prices on hotel and theater that will inspire you to go and enjoy
two days of events! Leaving from Westminster, our
first stop will be lunch at the world famous Mastoris
Diner in Bordentown, NJ. The bus will then take you
to the Novotel New York Hotel on W. 52nd Street,
where you will check in while your luggage is ported
to your room. You are free to make plans for the
