Welcome
We are going to have a great year filled with
exciting hands-on and innovative technology-based
activities in AIM. If you are new to the program, I
welcome you into my 12th year of teaching and
want you to know I truly have a passion for
teaching gifted children. I have two boys who
attend Olson and will be in grades 4 and 6 this
year. Outside of school, my husband , I and our
boys love watching movies, playing outside,
exercising and playing games together as a family.
We definitely stayed busy this summer and I also
found opportunities to collaborate with other
teachers and brainstorm ideas that will be both
challenging and engaging to your AIM student.
I hope that you find this year brings many
new experiences to you and your child
and that the skills your child works
on in AIM will prepare them for
future learning in and outside of school.

students will have the opportunity to
explore the areas of science,
