Our warmest gratitude to all who participated in our
Annual “Choose Respect” March that took place last
Thursday, Mar. 30th including St. Mary’s students, parents,
and teachers, Kodiak Police Department, Alaska State
Troopers, and Kodiak Community Members.
A special thank you to the volunteers who prepared and
cleaned up before and after the event.
Thank you to KMXT Public Radio and Kodiak Daily Mirror for
covering the event.
Thank you to all the nonprofit organizations who embraced
the opportunity to share with our wonderful community the
resources available for those in need and to help educate
those who wanted to learn more at the Resource Fair that
followed the march.
Thank you to our Coast Guard family for their donations
and for all the financial gifts from different community
organizations that were put to good use in preparation for
our annual march.
We are enormously grateful for our partners, Sun’aq Tribe of
Kodiak, Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center, and
Kodiak Area Native Association who helped make the 2017
“Choose Respect” March such a wonderful success!
KWRCC appreciates being part of a community that
always comes together to make a stand for the things that
really matter in life.
THANKS FOR CHOOSING RESPECT!
