Habitat: rainforests Size: 3047cm body; 25-54cm tail; 1.5kg
Adaptation: sleep coiled on open
branches like a cat Diet: fruit,
nuts, seeds, mice, bats & squirrels
Predator(s): big cats & eagle
Extra: sexually dimorphic i.e., you
can tell their sex by their coloring
or markings
WOOLLY MONKEY

Habitat: rainforests Size: 3858cm body; 56-69cm tail; 4.5-9kg
Adaptation: its thick coat help
keep the rain off Diet: mostly fruit
but also leaves & insects
Predator(s): man hunting them
for their meat

Habitat: rainforests Size: 5692cm head body; 59-92cm tail; 710kg Adaptation: its roar can be
heard at least 3 km away Diet:
leaves, fruit, flowers, maggots &
insects Predator(s): harpy eagle
SPIDER MONKEY

Adaptation: its tail acts like a fifth
limb which it uses to grasp
branches as it swings from tree to

Extra: its tail is not prehensile

balancing as it jumps through the
