Thank you to all who were able to attend the Lincoln Girl's Lacrosse Player and Parent
Information Meeting.
Please be sure to spread the word to girls who are interested in trying out for lacrosse. All levels
of experience are welcome. We are also still looking for an assistant coach if you know anyone
with an interest in coaching (previous playing and coaching experience preferred).

Important Dates and Communication
Lincoln Girls Lacrosse uses TeamSnap for communications between players, coaches
and parents. If you are not registered for Teamsnap please contact Nancy Hinnen,

All games, calendared events and links to documents will also be found on Teamsnap.
You can get email communication, text or both through Teamsnap.

Team Registration opens Friday, Jan 27. The registration link will be added here and
emailed when it opens.

Pre-Season Conditioning Feb 1st - 23rd. Sessions will be Mon/Wed/Thu from 4:00 5:30 at the LHS field with Pam Spuehler. Stay tuned for info about registering. $100 for
11 sessions. Drop ins available for $15/ session.

Saturday, Feb 18 - U of O 7v7 tournament. Sign up on the TeamSnap Availability tab if
you're interested. Cost will be approx $60 and more info can be found here.

Tryouts will be Mon & Tue, Feb 27 & 28. You will need to be registered and have all
health and other forms submitted. You can find the health forms at the LHS link
here. More info will be provided as we get closer.

Daily practices begin Mar 1. Practice times will alternate each week with the boys team
between 5:30-7:30pm and 7:30-9:30pm.

Saturday, March 4th - Team bonding activity TBA

Sat & Sun, March 11&12 - Jamboree at Wilson HS. JV Saturday March 11 and Varsity
Sunday March 12. Details TBA.

March 30 - April 2nd (Spring Break) - We are working on plans for a training camp or
mini-trip to Seattle the 2nd half of Spring break. Although this will likely be focused on
Varsity players, there may be opportunities for JV players as well. More details to come.
Registration
 Online Registration opens January 27 www.lincolnlaxgirls.com
 Fee is $430. This includes a $20 nonrefundable tryout/ administrative fee.
 We do not want money to deter any player from trying lacrosse so please see Ulysses,
Pip or one of the coaches if you need a scholarship or payment plan.
 Uniforms are provided during the season. $100 replacement fee will be charged if clean
uniforms are not returned within 2 weeks of the final game.
 All players must show up to tryouts, practice and games with goggles, mouth guard,
stick, good footwear, appropriate clothing.
 The following are required for players:
o US Lacrosse Membership number – valid through May 31, 2017
o PPS PHYSICAL EXAMINATION FORM must be dated within two calendar
years of the season's start date. Typically Freshman and Juniors need these.
Please turn the original of this form into the basket in the main office and keep a
copy for yourself.
o PPS MEDICAL HISTORY UPDATE FORM required for students who have a
physical older than 1 calendar year from the seasons start date. Please turn the
original of this form into the basket in the main office and keep a copy for
yourself.
o BLUE EMERGENCY CARD please fill out and have signed by parents and
return to coaches by the first night of tryouts. Available in the Lincoln main office
or Athletic office.
o PPS CODE OF CONDUCT required prior to first practice
o PARENT CONSENT FORM only needs to be turned in once each year and is
good for all sports during the school year. Signatures are required from both
athlete and parent/guardian. Please turn the parent consent form into the basket
in the main office!

Parent Engagement
Lincoln Girls Lacrosse is a club sport, with the kind support of Lincoln High School.
Parent volunteers are essential in the success of our club. We have the following
volunteer opportunities available throughout the season:
- Team volunteer coordinator (1 for JV and 1 for Varsity)
- Game day volunteers:
o Time keeper
o Scorekeeper
o Statistics keeper (training provided)
o Field set up and tear down
o Game announcer
o Game day lunch co-ordinator
o Fundraising co-ordinator
o Senior night planner
