Sustainable Equitation Adult Riding Club 2017

Sustainable Equitation Adult Riding Club 2017
INTRODUCTION
The Sustainable Equitation ARC has been formed to provide a friendly, relaxed
and supportive environment for riders of all levels. The club will provide
consistent coaching based on the principles of equitation science.
“Be the world you want to live into.”
VENUE
Rallies will be held at the home of Sustainable Equitation, a private property in
Herne Hill. Facilities include: enclosed dressage and jumping arenas, working
equitation area, XC course including water jump, wash-down bays, secure
parking and shaded areas.
Please note that this is a smoke-free venue. No dogs are allowed. There are no
yards available, however there are ample places to tie your horse in an
enclosed area or yard, and the property is gated so you can safely tie to your
float as well.
LESSONS AND RALLY FORMAT
Rallies will be held on Sundays, with additional mid-week rallies if there is
demand. Each rider will have two group lessons per rally.
Rallies will run approx 9am-1:30pm each day. There will be no helper duties so
you’ll be free to go when you’ve finished riding. BYO lunch/snacks and drinks.
Lessons will be available in dressage, jumping, poles, cross-country, working
equitation and ground work. Riders will provide lesson preferences for each
rally and requests will be accommodated as much as possible. Riders will be
