Tideo (Ukulele) Tideo: Keep the beat on the drum while singing hello. Ask if parents would like a turn playing the ukulele while singing the babies’ names. Asking “What does the cow say?” may also illicit a response. • Use the drum, mallet, and maraca to encourage accompanying the song in a variety of ways. • Repeat the song using the recording. Carnivalito Carnivalito: Section A: Sway and click or make a “ch” sound, imitating the rhythm and the sound of a maraca, so baby can hear the rhythm pattern and feel the beat. Pop-Up Clown Chairs Demo Doll Track Section B: Bounce the baby, picking heels up off the floor (remind them it’s great for shapely legs!). When the song repeats, instead of bouncing, stand and follow the teacher, dancing around the chairs.
