Discuss why some foods are healthier then others, talk about how too much fats, sugar and salt is not good for us. We will be repeating last weeks song you can sing along at http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/presenters/songs/presenters-springsong2011/ Springtime is here, it’s the start of year, Nature’s waking up from her rest. Lambs jumping around – new buds on the ground, Baby birds in the nest. The snow is melting away; it’s getting lighter each day, Spring flowers everywhere. It’s a wonderful thing – everybody sing: It’s springtime in the air! Oh – oh – oh – it’s the springtime. ( it’s the springtime ) Oh – oh – oh feel the sunshine. Oh – Oh – the rainbow colours everywhere. Springtime's in the air, (the air), the air, (the air), the air, (the air) the air, (the air). In the parks and the meadows daffodils are yellow, April showers splash to the ground. Baby ducks with their mummy, swimming on their tummy, It’s springtime all around. Now – jump up and down and turn all around, And tell me what can you see. Can you see the new beginnings? It’s such a happy feeling, It’s there for you and me! Oh – oh – oh – it’s the springtime. ( it’s the springtime ) Oh – oh – oh feel the sunshine. Oh – Oh – the rainbow colours everywhere. Springtime's in the air, in the air, in the air! This weeks Racing Readers are….
