YOUR CHILD HAS JUST COMPLETED IN THE 2013/2014 SCHOOL YEAR.

Complete & return to the Bicentennial Art Center by mail or in person. Payment
must be made at the time of registration in order to reserve your child’s spot in the class.
Payment may be made in cash or by check made payable to: Paris Art Center. Registration forms must include the signature of the parent or guardian. Please have your child
wear old clothes or bring a paint shirt so that they do not ruin their clothes.

The Bicentennial Art Center reserves the right to cancel a class if there are fewer than the minimum number of students required
registered. If the Art Center cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded. A student withdrawing from a
class after enrolling must notify the Art Center one week before the class begins in order to receive a full refund because classes are funded on a
break-even basis.

The following 4 clay classes will meet twice to allow the pieces to
dry and be fired before glazing:
Clay Jewelry (Grades K-8) Fee: $15.00

Tuesdays, June 10th & June 17th, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Create custom jewelry pieces out of clay.
Pinch Pot Owls (Grades K-8) Fee: $15.00

Tuesdays, June 10th & June 17th, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Create a cute little owl buddy out of clay.
Mixed Media (Grades 3-8) Fee: $7.00

Friday, June 13th, 2:15 - 4:00 p.m.
Design a unique piece using paint & paper.
Fairy Garden (Ages 5-10) Fee: $10.00

Wednesday, June 18th, 9:00 - 10:50 a.m.
We will sprinkle a little pixy dust & create a garden perfect for a
fairy.
Slab Vases (Grades 3-8) Fee: $15.00

Design unique sturdy square vases.
Design Your Own Plate (Ages 5 & up) Fee: $7.00

Kids will create their very own plate using sharpies! Designs are
limitless & you will be able to eat from them or use as a
decoration.
Sgraffito Slab (Grades 3-8) Fee: $15.00

Tuesdays, June 10th & June 17th, 2:15 - 4:00 p.m.
Learn a technique in which a design is carved out of the negative
space clay.
Make Your Own Pens (Ages 8 & up) Fee: $7.00

We will be making our own no-sew pens! These are absolutely
adorable!

Kids will be creating a unique book using can lids & scrap paper.
They will be putting the book together & adding pictures by
drawing or with photos once they get home.

Drop the paint brushes, we will be using bubble wrap & marbles
for our brushes. Super fun & messy!!
Straw Paint (Grades K-5) Fee: $10.00

Blow the paint all over your paper! We will be using straws to
move the paint around our paper.
Fairy Class (Ages 5 - 10) Fee: $10.00

In this class you will be making your very own fairy & fairy
garland for your room.
Button Tree Acrylic Painting (Ages 9 & up) Fee: $10.00

We will be creating a beautiful acrylic painting & adding buttons
to it to represent the leaves. By doing this we will turn it into a
mixed media painting.
Super Hero Class (Ages 5 & up) Fee: $10.00

Super heroes here we come! We will be making masks & our
own capes as well as another awesome super hero craft.
Silly Bird Marionette (Ages 5 & up) Fee: $7.00

We will be making our own silly bird puppets! These are cute &
lots of fun!

If you like being outside in the summer, this project is for you.
We will be making a bird feeder as well as other garden art.

Shaving Cream Painting (Ages 6 - 9) Fee: $7.00
Monday, July 14th, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Come take an hour of your summer afternoon to play in shaving
cream & make awesome art! Messy are is the best art! Don’t
forget to wear old clothes or bring a paint shirt!
Rainbow Pour Painting Pots (Ages 8 - 11) Fee: $10.00
Tuesday, July 15th, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Instructor: Millie Arp
Paint a terra cotta pot without using a paintbrush! Inspired by
the artist Salvador Dali, who works had melted qualities about
them, this style of painting is highly decorative. Perfect for use
outside or inside! Be sure to wear a paint shirt.
Handprint Butterflies (Ages 5 - 8) Fee: $10.00
Wednesday, July 16th, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Instructor: Mille Arp
These butterflies will not only bring a summer sensation to your
home, but they will also keep the memory of your little one’s
hands for a lifetime! Flutter on by to make your butterfly &
other fun finger-painting projects. Please wear a paint shirt!
Origami (Grades 2nd - 5th) Fee: $7.00
Tuesday, July 22nd, 8:00 - 9:15 a.m.

In this class we will be learning the art of origami - folding paper,
to make different creatures and objects.
Pinch Pot Ladybugs (PreK - 2nd) Fee: $7.00

Students in this class will be creating ladybugs from clay.
Bead Weaving Class (Grades 3 - 5) Fee: $7.00

Students in this class will be making keychains and bracelets by
weaving beads.
“Washer” Jewelry (Ages 7 & up) Fee: $7.00
Wednesday, July 30th, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Instructor: Joy Wright
This class with teach students how to make washers into jewelry
by using various colors of nail polish. Each student will have a
finished pendant at the end of the class to take home.
Coil Bracelet (Ages 7 & up) Fee: $7.00
Thursday, July 31st, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Instructor: Joy Wright
This class will teach students to design & make coil bracelets with
a variety of beads.
