· Erin Beal, Karissa Britten, Jacob Burzynski, and Andrew Wolfram While the Commended Students will not continue in the 2008 competition for National Merit Scholarships, they have placed among the top five percent of more than 1.4 million students who entered the National Merit Scholarship Program Competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. ­30­
