METHODIST CHURCH, ROCKDALE, CEMETERY ACT. Act No. 29, 1936. An Act to authorise the trustees of certain Methodist Church lands situated at Rockdale to remove slabs and tombstones from portions of the said lands and to re-erect such of those tombstones as are reasonably capable of re-erection in another portion of the said lands; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 8th July, 1936.] BE B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— 1. This Act may be cited as the "Methodist Church, Rockdale, Cemetery Act, 1936." 2 . (1) The Trustees of the Methodist Church lands at Rockdale described in the First P a r t of the Schedule to this Act may remove any slab or tombstone erected on such lands and may re-erect such of those tombstones as are reasonably capable of re-erection on that portion of such lands as is described in the Second P a r t of the said Schedule. (2) The said Trustees shall lay out and maintain upon the lands from which such slabs and tombstones have been so removed, gardens, lawns or grass plots. (3) Upon the re-erection of the tombstones on the land described in the Second P a r t of the Schedule to this Act, such land shall be known as the " W a l l of Remem brance." (4) The said Trustees shall defray the cost of the removal and re-erection of the slabs and tombstones pursuant to this Act. (5) No compensation shall be payable by the said Trustees to any person in respect of the performance of any act authorised by this Act, SCHEDULE. FIRST PART. All that piece or parcel of land situate at Eockdale Municipality of Eockdale parish of St. George county of Cumberland State of New South Wales being part of portion 52 and part of the land comprised in conveyance dated 18th August 1858 registered num ber 1 book 57 Commencing at the intersection of the south-western alignment at Bay-street with the south-eastern side of Chapel-lane and bounded thence on the north-east by that alignment of Baystreet aforesaid bearing and distant 117 degrees 23 minutes 45 seconds 1 seconds 278 feet 8 / inches to the north-western alignment of Chapelstreet thence on the south-east by the north-western side of Chapelstreet as occupied and the north-western boundary of the land in deposited plan 9591 being fenced lines bearing and distant respec tively 208 degrees 53 minutes 30 seconds 136 feet 2f inches and 209 degrees 37 minutes 75 feet 7 / inches to the north-eastern side of Chapel-lane thence on the south-west by the north-eastern side oi Chapel-lane being a line bearing and distant 324 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 301 feet 11 / inches thence on the north-west by the south eastern side of Chapel-lane bearing and distant 24 degrees 32 minutes 73 feet 9 inches to the point of commencement be the aforesaid several dimensions all a little more or less and containing by admeasurement an area of 3 roods 24 perches or thereabouts. 2 1 2 1 2 SECOND PART. All that piece or parcel of land situate at Rockdale Municipality of Rockdale parish of St. George county of Cumberland State of New South Wales being part of portion 52 and part of land comprised in conveyance dated 18th August 1858 registered number 1 book 57 Commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of Chapel-lane bearing and distant 204 degrees 32 minutes 73 feet 9 inches and 144 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 169 feet 3 inches from the intersection of Chapel-lane and the south-western alignment of Bay-street and bounded thence on the south-west by the north-eastern side of Chapel-lane aforesaid bearing and distant 144 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 62 feet thence on the south-east by a line bearing and distant 54 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 3 feet 3 inches thence on the north-east by a line bearing and distant 324 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 62 feet thence on the north-west by a line bearing and distant 234 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds 3 feet 3 inches to the point of commencement be the aforesaid several dimensions all a little more or less and containing by admeasurement an area of 201 / square feet or thereabouts. 1 2 FIREARMS
