Well we made it through FeBRRuary .. It was a cold and miserable month for sure and record breaking
snow fall...The shovels and snow blowers got a heavy work out and thoughts of spring and cruising was
on our minds big time .
First day of spring, at least on the calendar, is March 20th and is close at hand. In addition to that daylight
savings begins March8 and a sure sign that cruising season is close at hand.
I am sure that I don’t speak for just myself when I say I am anxious for the good weather to get here, take
the “toys” out of storage and once again get to “CRUISIN” in New England. It looks like it will be a good
season. I am starting to get more calls and e-mails from both members and non-members just to say hi,
what’s going on and looking for information in addition to the flyers on shows and cruise nights. It’s a
good sign that people are starting to come out of hibernation and looking forward to having some good
times. Hope our paths cross soon and often.
Some plans and ideas are in the works for an Ice Breaker (#25). Ideas are welcomed for a tentative date of
May 3rdh.There is a chance it may not happen because of the amount of snow weave.
The date for our 10th Anniversary Regional is in the works for 8/15-8/16 at the Holiday Inn Boxborough
in Boxborough MA It’s a big task and we need as many involved as possible for it to be a success. Please
help out in any way you can. A lot of hands can lighten the load for sure and allow everyone to enjoy it.
Communication, e-mail, and phone calls are going to be very important to coordinate what needs to be
done. Please watch your e-mails. Help will be needed, hope that you can get involved. Please don’t
hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at all.…..Thanks.
Remember: You might just be a Motor Head “if you know what citrus hand cleaner tastes like……and
you like the taste …………..Enjoy and have a GR 8 Day!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
"Lexophile" is a word used to describe those that
have a love for words, such as "you can tune a
piano, but you can't tuna fish", or "to write with a
broken pencil is pointless."
A competition to see who can come up with the
best lexophiles is held every year. This year's
winning submission is posted at the very end.
Congratulations to the following members that
March marks an anniversary date for them
joining the club.

The top 5 reasons why your check engine light
might be on ( No not on your “ride”)
1. Your Oxygen (O2) Sensor needs replacing
2. Gas cap is loose, damaged or missing
3. Catalytic Converter needs replacing Mass
Airflow Sensor needs replacing
4. Spark Plugs or Plug Wires need replacing
A closing thought:
“Look at your hands,
one is to help yourself,
one is to help others.”
Most auto parts store offer a free check engine
light service to pin point the problem.
