Acquisition of critical and self-critical behaviour towards the tourism section and the development of the tourism profession. 6763 Introduction to Mercantile Law ECTS credits: 6 Semester: 1 Teaching objectives The student is expected to gain a general panoramic view of Mercantile Law: the firm –as a preliminary and organisational concept of the content of mercantile law, its owner –the business manager- and its external activity – business activities -. Likewise, special emphasis will be placed on the detailed study of contracting in the tourism sector and its particularities within the framework of mercantile law. 1. Understanding of the structure and functioning of the legal order. 2. Knowledge of the essential content of mercantile law to understand the regulation of tourism sector. 3.
