MostoftheancientandmodernlanguagesofEuropebelongtoafamilyoflanguageswhichiscalledby
modernscholars"Indo-European"andtheirstudyfallswithintherangeofresearchknownasHistorical
Linguistics.ItwasfirstnoticedbySirWilliamJones,alinguisticallymindedemployeeoftheBritishEast
IndiaCompanyinthelatel8thcenturyashebeganprivatelessonsinSanskrit,thatmostofthelanguages
ofEuropeborestrongresemblancestoeachotherinbasic,primaryvocabulary.Theselanguages
furthermoreseemedconnectedstructurallywiththeancientSanskritwhichhewaslearning.
Hiscommentsreceivedlittlepublicattentionatthetime,butintheearlyl9thcenturyFranzBopp,the
GrimmBrothers(offairy-talefame!)andotherresearchersengagedinextensivecomparativelinguistic
studies,andeventuallyestablishedHistoricalLinguisticsasaseriousareaofstudy.Researchbasedon
thisemerginglinguisticdisciplinepointstoagreatexplosionofpopulationfromsuccessivewavesof
relatedpeoplesmovingintoPersiaandIndiaandintoEurope(thusIndo-European).Thesepeoples
languageswouldlaterbeknownasGreek,Italic(includingLatin),Celtic(English),Germanic,andtothe
north,BalticandSlavicspeakingpopulations(Russia).Alloftheselanguagesareclearlyrelated.
TheancienthieraticlanguageofIndiaiscalledSanskrit,actuallysam-skrtaor"decorated,arranged
language.”SanskritinlanguagestudyistheIndicparalleltoLatinstudiesintheWest.Itbelongstothe
groupofIndo-European(IE)languageswhichcamedownfromthenorth,toinvadetheIndicsubpeninsula,andwascarriedbytheksatriyaclassofnorthernwarriorswhodominatedIndiaforcenturies.
The“war-like”peopleofIndo-Europeanlanguage(thedescendantsofJapheth),calledthemselvesAryah
orAryans.Racismistheresultof“thesurvivalofthefittest,”notcreationismwhichstatesthatGod
createdusallinHisimageandweareallfamily.ProductsofracismincludetheNazis,whomwhenled
byAdolphHitler,soughttoexterminatetheworldoflesserpeoplesandcreateasuper-Aryanrace.
InHebrew,Japhethmeans“lightorfairskinned.”TheJaphethicorEuropeanpeoplearethefairskinned
peopleofEurope,whothroughsuccessivewavesofimmigrationsettledinotherpartsofthewest.The
termCaucasianasalabelforEuropeansderivesinpartfromtheassumptionthatthetribeofJapheth
developeditsdistinctivecharacteristicsintheCaucasusarea(northoftheBlackSea),havingmigrated
therefromMountAraratbeforepopulatingEurope.Inthesamevein,Georgiannationalisthistories
associatedJapheth'ssonswithcertainancienttribesoftheCaucasusarea,calledTubals(Tabals,
TibarenoiinGreek)andMeshechs(Meshekhs/Mosokhs,MoschoiinGreek),whotheyclaimed
representedancientpre-Indo-Europeanandnon-Semitic,possibly"Proto-Iberian"(Spanishpeninsula),
tribesofAsiaMinor(Armenians)ofthelate3rdmillenniumB.C.(2100B.C.).

wasaccuratelyfulfilledinthehistoryoftheEuropeannationsthataredescendantsofJapheth.In331
B.C.theGreekAlexandertheGreat,conqueredPersiaandextendedhisempiretoIndiaintheeastand
Egyptinthesouthwest.AlexanderalsospreadtheideasofAristotleandotherclassicalGreeks
throughoutconqueredlands,creatingtheHellenisticAge.In260B.C.RomefoughtPunicWarsagainst
Carthage–riseofRomanEmpireandfallofGreece.In65B.C.JuliusCaesarconqueredGaul(moderndayFrance)andotherpartsofEurope.InA.D1-RiseofChristianity.InA.D.100-RomanEmpirepeaked

TheAgeofExplorationbytheEuropeannationsisfrom1450A.D.to1700A.D.ChristopherColumbus
(1451A.D.–1506A.D.)anItalianwhoexploredforSpain,iswellknownforhisdiscoveryofAmerica,but
weseldomreadabouthisotherdiscoveriesintheWestIndiesandCentralAmericathatledtoterritorial
conquests.TodaymanyofthesecountriessuchasCuba,Nicaragua,etc.stillhavevestigesofcolonialist
Spain.HowdoyouthinkmostofthecountriesinSouthAmericastillhaveSpanishastheirnational
languageandBraziliansgottospeakPortuguese?ItcamefromtheexpansionistlegacyofEuropean
nationswhoaredescendantsofJapheth.WhatabouttheBritishEmpirethatonceembodiedAfrica,
Malaysia,Singapore,India,Burma(nowMyanmar),theWestIndies,Iraq,Turkey,Transjordan(now
Jordan),Palestine(nowIsrael),Canada,Australia,NewZealand,andSouthAfrica?IfAmericadidnot
wintheWarofIndependence(1765-1777)itwouldhavealsobecomeapartoftheBritishEmpire.We
shouldalsonotforgetthatFrancecolonizedVietnam(originallycalledFrenchIndo-China)andtheDutch
thatonceruledIndonesia(formerlycalledDutchEastIndies).ThePhilippineswere,atonetime,a
colonyofSpain.ThisisoneofthereasonswhymanyFilipinosstillretaintheirHispanicsurnames.Lest
weforget,theformerBritishCrowncolonyHongKongwasonlygivenbacktoChinain1997,andMacau
wasreturnedbyPortugaltoChinain1999.ThosethatteachtheChinesearedescendantsofJaphethdo
nothaveanyhistoricalevidenceofChina’scolonizationofothercountries.
