Base Ten Blocks
Today we are going to start out
by writing numbers in base ten.
That means writing numbers as
the addition of 1 or 10 or 100.
EXAMPLE: 13 = 10 + 1 + 1 + 1
EXAMPLE: 111 = 100 + 10 + 1
