Cruse Bereavement Care plans to train more volunteers to provide face-to-face
support for bereaved people in North and North East Lincolnshire.
A training course, organised by the South Humber Area of Cruse, will be held on the
following eight Saturdays in 2015, running from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm:
28th March , 18th April , 25th April , 9th May 16th May, 6th June, 13th June, 4th July
The first four sessions will be held at the Novartis Training room, Moody Lane and the
second four at Grimsby or Brigg (venue to be confirmed). Training will be non- refundable
£50 admin charge. When trained and interviewed volunteers will become members of
either the Scunthorpe or the Grimsby Branch of Cruse. Those who wish will be eligible to
apply for accreditation with ASCENTIS at Level 2.
Cruse faces a growing demand for its services and urgently needs more volunteers to
reduce waiting lists. Please would you be willing to join our efforts to restore hope to clients
who have suffered the devastating trauma of bereavement?
