Hethwood. We have a month full of special events
designed to show our appreciation for YOU, our residents!

Pumpkin Carving Contest
The Community Pumpkin Carving Contest sponsored by the
Hethwood Foundation will be on Saturday, October 20th.
Purchase and carve your pumpkins at Hethwood Market starting at
noon or bring carved pumpkins from home. Pumpkins MUST be at
the Market by 4pm to enter the contest. After the judging at 6pm,
“It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” will be playing at 6:30pm
Hatha Yoga Classes
outside on the lawn next to the Hethwood Market. Bring lawn
chairs and blankets. Cookies and Hot Cider will be available, while Join Gelsina Ceriano for Hatha
Yoga! Her classes offer gentle
supplies last. Weather Permitting.

Weed Control
Please remember that during early October, Tru-Green will be coming
to complete fall weed control and fertilization of the common areas.
Please watch for the Tru-Green warning flags to stay off the grass. All
chemicals used are EPA approved and as always, MSDS information
sheets will be available in the Welcome Center office for your reference.

Filter changes will take place this month. Notices will be sent to
individual buildings indicating the date that the filter change will take
place. Please be prepared for a Service Technician to enter your
apartment home by having the utility closet and filter vent accessible.
Each room of the apartment home will be entered to perform a
brief inspection. Any non-emergency items noted at this time will be
addressed at a later date.
