completely filled out and sent to the NBA records Chairman. Turkey must also be harvested under the laws of fair chase and meet the
minimum score set by the NBA for typical and multi-bearded wild turkeys.

WEIGHT: All turkeys must be weighed (live weight) to the nearest ounce or hundredth-of-a-pound, on a scale inspected and
certified by the Nebraska State Department of Agriculture or U.S. Federal Government.
THE SCALE RECEIPT (SIGNED AND DATED) OR HANDWRITTEN WEIGHT SLIP (SIGNED AND DATED) MUST BE
ATTACHED TO THIS SCORE FORM.
BEARD LENGTH: Each beard must be measured from the center point of its protrusion from the skin and to the end of the longest
bristle. All measurements must be certified to the nearest 1/16th of an inch by any NBA officer, area representative or any P&Y
measurer who is also an NBA member.
SPUR LENGTH: Spurs must be measured along the outside center line curve, of the point at which the spur protrudes from the
scaled leg skin, to the tip of the spur, and all measurements must be certified to the nearest 1/16th of an inch by any NBA officer, area
representative or any P&Y measurer who is also an NBA member.
TOTAL SCORE: The formula for the overall score is the total weight in decimal form, plus 10 time the right and left spur lengths in
decimal form, plus 2 times the beard(s) length in decimal form.
