Join us on our 16th annual tour to America’s most exciting metropolis – New York City – for a getaway that is filled with
shopping, sightseeing and endless entertainment with Christmas lights and cheer. We will stay at a first class hotel located in
Times Square & the theatre area; within walking distance of Good Morning America, Radio City Music Hall, Macy’s, St. Patrick’s
Cathedral, Central Park, Rockefeller Center & more.
Price is per person, double occupancy and includes transportation from Baton Rouge, 3 nights hotel accommodations, a top Broadway
play, the fabulous Rockettes, breakfast daily, guided bus tour of Manhattan , Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Tour, transfers, baggage
handling, all taxes and tips on included services. Not included: Tips for personal services (maids, etc.), transportation to plays.

Day 1, Thursday, Nov. 30 – Morning motor coach from Zachary, Baton Rouge and Gonzales to New Orleans (or other home airports).
Arrive in New York mid-afternoon. Transfer by private motor coach to 1st class Times Square hotel, our home for three nights. We do a
walking tour of the area, including the Rockefeller Center with its Christmas tree and lights. Instead of a walking tour, you might
choose to enjoy the hotel and Times Square area. Tonight at leisure.
Day 2, Friday, December 1– “Good Morning America” show is possible. Then 9 a.m. guided city tour on a private covered bus takes
us by Madison Square Garden, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, Fifth Avenue, World Trade Center
Memorial, Central Park, and more. Tonight we attend the fabulous Rockette’s Christmas Show.
Day 3, Saturday, December 2 – This morning’s sightseeing is to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. In the afternoon you might do
optional visit to the Empire State Building Observation for a spectacular view of the city and area (adult -$32, senior - $29) or a walk in
Central Park, or visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art (adult -$25, senior - $17). Tonight you will attend a play of your choice.
Transportation to the play will be on your own, most theaters are within easy walking distance or short taxi ride from our hotel. Some
suggestions (others may be available at www.broadway.com).

Day 4, Sunday, December 3 – There is a Catholic church and Protestant church within 2 blocks for those who desire. Mid-day departure
from hotel to airport for flight home. Upon arrival in New Orleans (approximately 6:00 p.m.), board motor coach for home.
New York City is a fabulous place to visit. The things that interest tourists are centrally located and easy to find. Most are within
walking distance of our hotel. Manhattan is laid out as a perfect grid and it is nearly impossible to get lost. There is so much to do
and you may use your time as you choose. Some optional suggestions are:
• Visiting some of the world’s greatest museums – Metropolitan, Natural History, Frick, Guggenheim
• Walking around – Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, Grand Central Terminal
• Shopping – Upper end and bargain. We will be within walking distance of Saks, Tiffany’s, Macy’s, etc.
• $100 per person required to reserve space, refundable until Sept. 1, 2017 when full payment is due.
