8 – Hour Industrial Fire Training (Brigade Annual Refresher) (Live Fire)
This course is designed for experienced Emergency Response Personnel.
This course provides training for emergency response personnel and opportunities to practice techniques that are
necessary in dealing with exterior emergencies. This is an excellent opportunity to train members that may have
missed annual live fire training.

16 – Hour Incident Command System /Incident Management System Training
The purpose of this course is to train emergency responders in the application of an Incident Command or Incident
Management System. The course introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and command and control
procedures for all sizes and types of emergency incidents. The course hands-on exercises on the incident
command simulator.

NFPA 1521 Incident Safety Officer (ISO)
The course provides you with a solid foundation and knowledge to identify and analyze safety concerns and to
communicate recommended solutions to the command authority. The class focuses on industrial emergency scene
operations using the Incident Command System (ICS). You will gain confidence in your ability to handle a variety of
emergency situations through classroom exercises, including building an incident safety plan. Upon successful
course completion participant will also receive a TEEX certificate.

NFPA 1081 Industrial Exterior Fire Brigade Training – Pro Board (Live Fire)
This 40-hour course provides emergency response personnel with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that
may be used to safely resolve an emergency in a plant facility in compliance with NFPA 1081.
Participant will gain confidence in their abilities to handle a variety of emergency situations through classroom and
field exercises. Upon successful completion of course curriculum and certification testing, participants will receive
certification from NPQS, National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro-Board).
Prerequisites:
NFPA 472 Hazmat Awareness level is required

NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor 1 – Pro Board
This course is designed to meet the needs of entry-level fire and emergency service instructors. The course meets
or exceeds the job performance requirements in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, Standard for
Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications, Chapter 4. Participants must bring laptop computer with MS
Office software and an 8GB USB memory stick. . Upon successful completion of course curriculum and
certification testing, participants will receive certification from NPQS, National Board on Fire Service Professional
Qualifications (Pro-Board).

NFPA 472 HazMat Operations – Pro Board
This course meets or exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 472 Standard for Competence of
Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents Chapter 5, “Core Competencies for
Operations Level Responders,” and Chapter 6.2, “Mission-Specific Competencies: Personal Protective Equipment,”
and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.120 (q)(6)(ii) for Operations-level personnel. Prerequisite:
Completion of training for all competencies of NFPA 472 Chapter 4, “Competencies for Awareness-Level
Personnel.” Upon successful completion of course curriculum and certification testing, participants will receive
certification from NPQS, National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro-Board).

NFPA 472 HazMat Technician – Pro Board
This course meets or exceeds the qualifications for National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 472Standard for
Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents Chapter 7,
“Competencies for Hazardous Materials Technicians,” and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.120 (q)(6)(iii)
for Technician-level personnel. Students must be trained to the Operations level to receive Pro-Board Certification.

CPR / First Aid
This course is a basic HeartSaver First Aid which includes basic adult, child, infant CPR and basic First Aid. This is a 2
year Certification training program. The purpose of this course is to certify personnel in American Heart Association
(AHA) Basic First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

8 Hour HAZWOPER – Refresher
This course is a Hazardous Waste General Site Worker Annual Refresher training program to train General Site
Workers in accordance with 29CFR 1910.120(e)(8)Hazardous Waste Operations. – “Refresher training. Employees
specified in paragraph (e) (1) of this section, and managers and supervisors specified in paragraph (e)(4) of this
section, shall receive eight hours of refresher training annually on the items specified in paragraph (e)(2) and/or
(e)(4) of this section, any critique of incidents that have occurred in the past year that can serve as training
examples of related work, and other relevant topics.”

24 - Hour HAZWOPER
This course is to train General Site Workers in accordance with 29CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) Hazardous Waste
Operations – “Workers regularly on site who work in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized
indicating that exposures are under permissible exposure limits and published exposure limits where respirators
are not necessary, and the characterization indicates that there are no health hazards or the possibility of an
emergency developing, shall receive a minimum of 24 hours of instruction off the site, and the minimum of one day
actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor.”

This course is to train personnel to comply with 29CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) Hazardous Waste Operations – “General
site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous
substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and
health hazards shall receive a minimum of 40 hours of instruction off the site, and a minimum of three days actual
field experience under the direct supervision of a trained experienced supervisor.”
